Every day, from the morning, going to work by bus, I set myself a TASK FOR A DAY. I have to make it.
It can be to:
1. Write a debugged class.
2. Fix an error.
3. Write a test.
4. Implement requirement specification.
5. Draw UML-diagram.
6. Write documentation.
7. Make RS more exact resulting in concrete artifacts.
At least something in the list. Or better – a few of them. Chatter in CQ and e-mail do not enter the list. As well as internet surfing. As well as idle talks at meetings. What is important is the RESULT, not the process.
These must be artefacts put in CVS or SVN.
If the day passed without it – I think it is spent in vain.
Fire And Motion.
